As I listen to my metronome footsteps
As I stare along the melodic path
As I try to prepare and practice
The omens come thick and fast
Three crows large
looking at me with black eyes in the know
Fairy fantails dainty and ever so faintly
looking at me with thousand blessing hallos
A rabbit darting
Many bees busy with spring just starting
An eagle soaring
Three pelicans holding onto a dream just starting
