Stick 210 - Seven Years in Africa
Seven Years in Africa
Year one
became the birth
of the prodical son
Year two
became known for the rains
that filled the Limpopo with brown earth stains
Year three
became the key to the revolution
of the people who craved to be slavery free
Year four
became the icon for the grain in the store
so the multitudes of children could eat to have strength restored
Year five
became the drive to survive for those with illnesses like Aids
and the stage was set for the UN helpers to arrive
Year six
became known for blessings in a mismatch mix
as the strongest survive and rejoice in feeling so very much alive
Year seven
became the sign of the exciting moment in million years of time
as the wise and the old knew that Africa will never ever grow cold
