Stick 136 - Such A...

such a stick

splitting hair
such an undecided affair

graffiti on a bland white wall
such a jewel in rebellion crown hall

waiting in a que
such a moment frozen in prison bar time

screeching train wheels entering the station
such a C note on the violin string of human creation

lipstick on an empty wine glass
such a personal signature of a romance in its entirety still vast

Stick 135 - Arm in Arm

To Lorraine...

Best Friends Forever you smiled
as we sat cross legged
toasting mashmallows in the candle light
tired but proud of our self-made wooden den

Best Friends Forever you yelled
as you stretched your arms and dived
off the graffiti bridge outside town
as you sliced through the river glass down

Best Friends Forever you yawned
as we worked through the nights, hot chocolate in hand
and prepared for scholarships and final exams
as we curled in a spoon and slept forever and a day

Best friends Forever you hugged
as we set our aims high and left our town at eighteen
as we openly stormed into seperate promising adult lives
as we individually dried tears with memories so dear

Best Friends Forever
Me here and You there
Me wishing You here
Us always in spirit together Forever

Stick 134 - The Other Leaf

The Other Leaf

This side was quite unique
but that side carried with it an unmistakable mistique

This side was beautiful and strong
but that side carried a persuasive nature all of its own

This side was determined in its very every stride
but that side caused a stir in a movement similar to a gracious glide

This side was dreaming each night
but that side had conquered many a nightmare fight

This side was a female in all her glory
but that side was a woman with a very interesting life story

Stick 133 - Have You Ever

The real stick in the inner inside of the you

Have you ever lain down in the mud
Have you ever squished out your wound blood
Have you ever picked at your knee scab
Have you ever felt like breaking all the viles in the science lab

Have you ever played the same F-sharp note again and again so low
Have you ever licked your bowl out with your tongue really slow
Have you ever watched a silk worm spin on a cardboard shape bottle top
Have you ever on a swing bent back till your hair patterned the dust below

Have you ever entwined your hands in course donkey mane hair
Have you ever opened letters with steam and resealed it with no regret
Have you ever in a silo shouted loud so the sound would reach China
Have you ever dangled honey patterns so sticky on a clean table cloth

Have you ever celebrated the true you inside the inner you
Have you ever laughed tears at yourself and the very true you
Have you ever twirled a strand of hair around your no ring finger with flair
Have you ever hugged yourself at night with unconditional love and delight

Stick 132 - Natures Clock

Tick Tock Nature Clock....

Natures face was etched so clear
that day when the river brushed the weather's hair

Natures face became soft with grace
that day when the rocks melted on its tongue the sugary sweet morning air

Natures face turned secretive and pointed to a brand new discovery place
that day when the rythm stirred the sweat pot and the sun blessed the earth contours with hot

Natures face became animated and alive
that day when she recalled the memories of lovers and her sensuality once again thrived

Natures face laughed with abandonement as she surrendered
that day when the sky met the earth and the rain kissed away the last refrain

Natures face embraced with delight
that day when nothing else mattered but the acceptance of natures clock in the valley of tick tock

Stick 131 - Trilogy of Movement

Three beginner leaves on one young stick...

There we were
set in stone
often frozen to the bone

Whenever we felt brave enough
we carefully skirted around the subject of what had happened to us
and we stood as three wanting so much to be part of one tree

We lived our lives seperate and apart
we yearned as we learned about matters of the heart
we always found it hard, because we so missed that vital mutual start

Then out of the blue
Like flying carpet magic that came true
we suddenly knew we found the answering tree that stood ready to set us free

And here we are now
All three of us in the trilogy of our mutual movement
All three of us living a life in harmony with a love now entirely fluent

Stick 130 - Whispering Curls

My whispering somethings at the break of morn...

Sweetheart kisses under the blue blue sky
Honeybunch wishes on a creaky train bridge above the farm barn
Darling dance murmurs in the clearing where you gift me a daisy crown
Eagle wings enthuse my mind as I find solice in you, my one-of-a-kind
Love of my life, echo through the valley of my life
