Older and wiser
Calm and strong
Holding on
to leaves long gone
Standing up straight
never too long to wait
wonderment in finding the unfound
accepting the gap between grass and lost ground
In the leaves of the past
are memories untarnished and forever to last
as the leaves still cling to the fallen stick
upside living treasures the past
as it sprinkles amongst the new grass
