Stick 153 - The Wait
The Wait...
Under the round stone
the bluest blue drop
and the reflection of the
magestic African mountain top
Under the window
below the green roof
our flowerbed of hidden love
host sorry seeds dormant in growth
Under the yellow moss
the moist sap within the dark bark
keeping watch as our faces
turn orange in the fire spark
Under the pink sky
the round sinking sun
sleepy in its relaxed state
taunting those who anticipate and have to wait
Under the red dust
an early season growth blade
pushing towards the rebirth
of the human hope wave

Stick 152 - Cradle Stick
Cradle Stick
Cradle me
Cradle my life
Cradle the love I live and lovingly give for free
Tangle me
Tangle my yearnings
Tangle the pleading for meaning beginnings and never endings
Mingle me
Mingle my chatter
Mingle the wine glass candle light and occasional splatter
Snuggle me
Snuggle my need
Snuggle the feeling of wanting to be led and believed
Tingle me
Tingle my passion
Tingle my enthusiasm for a life lived fully with compassion

Stick 151 - Darkness Blend
Darkness Blend
The dark of night hold many a moment of delight
as I lie awake and contemplate
the people I encounter on the journeys I wander
The interesting conclusion come in a speck of moonlight
as I turn on my side and enjoy the soft light magic outside
the open heart laughter by some, make me joyfully ride the crest life tide
The dark gifts to me, music that has no finish or start
as I turn on my back I drink the sound of the deep blue soothing blanket notes
and I embrace the time to not sleep, as Darkness Blend is my nightime friend

Stick 150 - Street Princess
Street Princess
Your beauty struck me instantly
Your clothes old and torn
Your feet bare and alone
Your hands begging desperately on a run down street corner throne
Your eyes wary and constantly checking
...I salute you Street Princess beggar so devine
Your bravery struck me instantly
Your head held defiantly high
Your child sleeping exhaustedly before the next hungry cry
Your hips cradling your toddler extended tummy defined
Your eyes unwavering and unblinking
...I salute you Street Princess beggar so devine
Your single minded focus struck me instantly
Your turning the other cheek as some dare to lecture and taunt
Your life harder than hard, while colours paint your night better-life-dreams
Your unencumbered childhood games your only laughing escape
Your thankful eyes pocketing an amount called little-bit-not-nearly-enough
....I salute you Street Princess beggar so devine

Stick 149 - Near Spring
On the brink of 1st of September
Spring has sprung
but no new growth buds, yet know where they belong
Lingering winter thoughts
have no summer flowers, yet to deliver the conclusions reached
Mornings tease with soft sunrays
but no flirtatious happiness, yet dominate the human summer mental state
Ocean waves melt iceberg mainstays
but no tropical fish, yet leave to venture into unknown seas
Summer thoughts tease-wink behind the scenes
but no perfume frangrances, yet fill the air to alleviate winter dispair

Stick 148 - Wonderment Change
Wonderment Change
Welcome Stranger
Welcome Back
you stir my night with a haze of danger
as you feed my curiosity hunger
Wild Invite
Wild Darkness
hang in the air
echo inside my mind to follow if I dare
Warm Night
Warm Height
as the certain knowing
flirts with the excitement growing
Warrior Bravery
Warrior Discovery
as we defend a life of meaning
where strangers surprisingly become part of the enlightened change feeling

Stick 147 - Tango in a Summer Park
tango overtures
she stood quite still
beside the water fountain drops of determined will
on the cobbled stoned village road to what needs to now be fulfilled
the notes floated on the lily leaves
the key was a beautiful soft song in A minor followed by E
as she tingled and waited for the scene to unfold
the start of the beginning notes took an uncanny hold
her heart joined the music as the dancers melted into love foretold
the notes fluttered lotus leaf drops
the key precluded everything except the tango which was meant to be
as she drank from the well of a beautiful memory
the sunset flirted with the violin bow while cellos embraced every soul
and she stood quite still in awe of the special thing called her own free will

Stick 146 - Not in a Corner
Not in a corner...
Why was it then, that
just as I revealed the real me
the yellyfish bites became painful long after our summer swim in the sea
Why was it then, that
just as I let my so-long guard down
the longest jetty walk became the last of our togetherness talk
Why was it then, that
just as I navigated and you steered
the roadie we shared to somewhere special reached the no-more forever-ever
Why was it then, that
just as I felt your warm breath whisper
that if I leave you you will come too, that you left before I could do it to you
Why was it then, that
just as I became sad me, that I suddenly knew for sure that
a corner is never a corner and precious sticks are
wonderous, delightful and beautiful new life bricks

Stick 145 - Light between Dark
The Light between the Dark
Doubt was aware of the twilight in the air
Dreams waited silent and subdued behind those stage stairs
Discord rained between must and what should be a decision of trust
Darkness was predicted should this be another false start
Daring was the surprise in the box next to the ticking clock
Delightful was the rythmic pulse of an enlightened human heart
as it bravely Dispelled forever the doubtful draining dark

Stick 144 - Pilgrim's Preparation Prayer
Pilgrim's Preparation Prayer
As I prepare
I become more aware
of The Way that lies ahead
of the excitement of the solitude of the coming days
As I observe
I become more alert
and concentrate on my inner strengthening state
and celebrate every elimination of life's past weight
As I enjoy each daily step
I become more appreciative of the role my feet will play
as they carry me unquestioningly
towards the walk of the pilgrims of the ancient and the past
As I pray and thank my Lord
I become more sure
that this path is inevitably waiting for me to explore
and that the real answer to it all, awaits in The Way and in its very core

Stick 143 - Rough and Raw
Rough and Raw
sometimes I wish I was stranded on a beach
in the never find world of the island called for-ever-more-shore
sometimes I imagine on my island a magic forest night
where I dance and sing till the chattery stars join in
sometimes I hum the song that I would bring along
when I sew my island clothes of cloth leaves and stone button rows
sometimes I glow as I believe that in this special lost place
there would be an untainted stage where unconditional love was all the rage
sometimes I know that this wonderworld cannot be
but in my flights of fancy it becomes as real and special as possibly can be

Stick 142 - Watershed Moment
watershed moment...
we balance on a fallen tree trunk arms outstretched and free
we climb the tallest coconut filled palm tree
we beg an eagle to carry us into its cliff nest
we squash a ripe mango till juice drops stain our silk blouse vest
we prick our finger tips and taste the salty friendship blood drops
we shadow in the rim of our wide brim hat tops
we lose faith as we hold hurt and devastation in despise
we bring tears to our eyes when we watch a child's happy squeal surprise
we know we have crossed the watershed when life's thunderstorm drops
splash love and happiness in our daily wheat field circle crops

Stick 141 - Soul Food
The Spark under the Bark
It was when she met my eyes
that I saw the ravenous quest for meaning
It was when she spoke low and slow
that I heard the appetite for intelligent debate filled evenings
It was when she ate with hungry intent
that I felt the need to abandon the frienship famine
It was when she smiled with soft lips tilting upwards
that I knew for certain she shared a peckish sense of humour
It was when she said goodbye and ended the night with warmth of heart
that I understood the craving-hunger that churns the hunkering-yearning
for the good delivered only by female soul food

Stick 140 - To Sleep
Sleep Stick
I turn to bed
I turn in
I turn off
I turn to you
I breathe deep
I breathe shallow
I breathe whispers
I breathe into your back
I snuggle in
I snuggle up
I snuggle your broad shoulder
I snuggle your smell
I fly away I fly towards
I cry in monologue
I yearn for dialogue
I yearn for the you in the you that was my true
I turn to bed
I turn in
I turn off
I turn to you
I breathe deep
I breathe shallow
I breathe whispers
I breathe into your back
I snuggle in
I snuggle up
I snuggle your broad shoulder
I snuggle your smell
I fly away I fly towards
I cry in monologue
I yearn for dialogue
I yearn for the you in the you that was my true

Stick 139 - Admit Two Adults
Ticket in my Memory Box
Below the Blue
Behind the Screen
The silence Bubble
The shared inbetween
By night they dreamt
Darkness gave freedom to explore
They tasted the weird, wonderful and bizarre
They knew this would now be the only and all
By day the blue became the watery waves
that wash in and out of human past caves
The ticket stained with human rain of black ink and salty refrain
Admit two Adults with all they became

Stick 138 - Lightning Storm Stick
Lightning Storm Stick
Frightened and chill-bone alone
Storm clouds swirl omenous paint on a begging black sky
Scattered hurt stab relentless shards through uncertain invitation cards
Unruly wind hurls insults as it wraps around throw away human bundles
Lightning finally unleashes its force-arcs accross the swollen ragged sky
Thunder drumroles the chaos below
Battered river banks testify to the rage of the out of control heart break sky
I wait to rest on the stick bundles that nest in the first rays of the after storm sun glaze
Stick 137 - Invisible Me
invisible free me...
what you see
is what I want you to see
the real me
is invisible and wildly free
my me
has been evolving for a half a century
my me
has been wading through the fog on a life lake of discovery
she has strained and was pained
but decided to never bow out
she was tossed and turned
and often bled and screamed out loud
the real me, the me in my now me
is part of the stick and the stones of the past
the real me, the me in my now me
is breathing the air which was always elusively there
what you see
is what I want you to see
the real me
is invisible and happy and wildy free

Stick 136 - Such A...
such a stick
splitting hair
such an undecided affair
graffiti on a bland white wall
such a jewel in rebellion crown hall
waiting in a que
such a moment frozen in prison bar time
screeching train wheels entering the station
such a C note on the violin string of human creation
lipstick on an empty wine glass
such a personal signature of a romance in its entirety still vast

Stick 135 - Arm in Arm
To Lorraine...
Best Friends Forever you smiled
as we sat cross legged
toasting mashmallows in the candle light
tired but proud of our self-made wooden den
Best Friends Forever you yelled
as you stretched your arms and dived
off the graffiti bridge outside town
as you sliced through the river glass down
Best Friends Forever you yawned
as we worked through the nights, hot chocolate in hand
and prepared for scholarships and final exams
as we curled in a spoon and slept forever and a day
Best friends Forever you hugged
as we set our aims high and left our town at eighteen
as we openly stormed into seperate promising adult lives
as we individually dried tears with memories so dear
Best Friends Forever
Me here and You there
Me wishing You here
Us always in spirit together Forever

Stick 134 - The Other Leaf
The Other Leaf
This side was quite unique
but that side carried with it an unmistakable mistique
This side was beautiful and strong
but that side carried a persuasive nature all of its own
This side was determined in its very every stride
but that side caused a stir in a movement similar to a gracious glide
This side was dreaming each night
but that side had conquered many a nightmare fight
This side was a female in all her glory
but that side was a woman with a very interesting life story

Stick 133 - Have You Ever
The real stick in the inner inside of the you
Have you ever lain down in the mud
Have you ever squished out your wound blood
Have you ever picked at your knee scab
Have you ever felt like breaking all the viles in the science lab
Have you ever played the same F-sharp note again and again so low
Have you ever licked your bowl out with your tongue really slow
Have you ever watched a silk worm spin on a cardboard shape bottle top
Have you ever on a swing bent back till your hair patterned the dust below
Have you ever entwined your hands in course donkey mane hair
Have you ever opened letters with steam and resealed it with no regret
Have you ever in a silo shouted loud so the sound would reach China
Have you ever dangled honey patterns so sticky on a clean table cloth
Have you ever celebrated the true you inside the inner you
Have you ever laughed tears at yourself and the very true you
Have you ever twirled a strand of hair around your no ring finger with flair
Have you ever hugged yourself at night with unconditional love and delight

Stick 132 - Natures Clock
Tick Tock Nature Clock....
Natures face was etched so clear
that day when the river brushed the weather's hair
Natures face became soft with grace
that day when the rocks melted on its tongue the sugary sweet morning air
Natures face turned secretive and pointed to a brand new discovery place
that day when the rythm stirred the sweat pot and the sun blessed the earth contours with hot
Natures face became animated and alive
that day when she recalled the memories of lovers and her sensuality once again thrived
Natures face laughed with abandonement as she surrendered
that day when the sky met the earth and the rain kissed away the last refrain
Natures face embraced with delight
that day when nothing else mattered but the acceptance of natures clock in the valley of tick tock

Stick 131 - Trilogy of Movement
Three beginner leaves on one young stick...
There we were
set in stone
often frozen to the bone
Whenever we felt brave enough
we carefully skirted around the subject of what had happened to us
and we stood as three wanting so much to be part of one tree
We lived our lives seperate and apart
we yearned as we learned about matters of the heart
we always found it hard, because we so missed that vital mutual start
Then out of the blue
Like flying carpet magic that came true
we suddenly knew we found the answering tree that stood ready to set us free
And here we are now
All three of us in the trilogy of our mutual movement
All three of us living a life in harmony with a love now entirely fluent

Stick 130 - Whispering Curls
My whispering somethings at the break of morn...
Sweetheart kisses under the blue blue sky
Honeybunch wishes on a creaky train bridge above the farm barn
Darling dance murmurs in the clearing where you gift me a daisy crown
Eagle wings enthuse my mind as I find solice in you, my one-of-a-kind
Love of my life, echo through the valley of my life
Stick 129 - Big Leaf Wonder
Big Leaf Wonder
Dew drops on my Lotus leaf
Promise diamonds on natures morning pillow
Meet me by the secret creek
Crunch with me the autumn fern debris
Raindrops on the river moss boulder
After the tears the rainbow crown
Meet me by the turn of time
Watch with me the hours tango on the minute rythm of our second stage

of the seasons of your path

Lay down your wooden weaving spindle
take my ageing hand
be with me and hold me while we rekindle every lost strand

Stick 126 - Moonlight Statue Stance
My stick lay in solitude at the base of a most beatiful statue of a female human form in a forrest at the base of Krummenau, just where the river cascades down a waterfall into the valley below....
I saw your female statue form
down by the river edge
I saw you were naked and alone
down by the river edge
I saw your head bent down as you hugged your drawn up knees
down by the river edge
I saw your female spine protrude on your rounded back
down by the river edge
I saw your female longing tears cascade over the waterfall
down by the river edge
I saw you appreciated my pledge of care
down by the river edge
I yearn to earn your love and respect
down by the river edge
Stick 125 - The Prayer
i bow my head...
dear god,
i raise my hands in prayer
your grace erased my every dispair
dear god,
you heard my silent plea
your infinite power created that which I needed to live free
dear god,
i bow in awe
as i honour the life path you knowingly let me explore
dear god,
i notice the little things
that you so wisely sprinkle along the way to inspire me and avoid delay
dear god,
I thank you for my beautiful sticks
for in the year of 2013, they have become my spiritual life friend bricks

Srick 123 - The Sum of Us
we share because we care
life's sharing times is all about formulating special caring rhymes
in the gulleys where our rivers overflow
we find the sum of all our sticks
and the together times of the love that we so generously grow
where the waterfall unreservedly carry our together sticks
into the nooks and crannys of humble giving mix
we come to rest in the stick nest where we laugh, live, linger and love
as the together sticks link arms in the valley called life-lived-to-the-full
