Stick 147 - Tango in a Summer Park
tango overtures
she stood quite still
beside the water fountain drops of determined will
on the cobbled stoned village road to what needs to now be fulfilled
the notes floated on the lily leaves
the key was a beautiful soft song in A minor followed by E
as she tingled and waited for the scene to unfold
the start of the beginning notes took an uncanny hold
her heart joined the music as the dancers melted into love foretold
the notes fluttered lotus leaf drops
the key precluded everything except the tango which was meant to be
as she drank from the well of a beautiful memory
the sunset flirted with the violin bow while cellos embraced every soul
and she stood quite still in awe of the special thing called her own free will
