The twinkle in your eye
lead to an anticipated high
as you reach the punchline of your story
I feel the bubbling start of a smile ready to play a part
The sound of your laughter
lead to a combined joyous abandonment
as your eyes meet mine in a shared
moment of merry-go-round chase after
We stop and hold the shared stare
as we still in the pleasant after
we wipe our tears
while the giggles reappear
