Stick 42 - Life Squawk


Life Squawk

Raven's night filled with squawks of fright
Shiny evil feathers oiled with deeds horribly sad
Yellow eyes filled with ice cold nothings
This is the bird that greeted that day...

Pelican's dawn filled with old wisdom reborn
White rays of morning comb the feather-strong resolve
Yellow beak clamp a fish half alive
This is the bird that could go either way...

Dove's sunset soak up the red blood of dispair
Soft Cooing calm the soul in a state of near non-repair
Dainty beak crunches seeds brimfull with nourishing nature oils
This is the bird that triumphs and erases the grey....
